About Us & Our Jewellery
Muna Rosa is an ode to you and your inherent uniqueness, we aim to celebrate and champion you, whoever you choose to be. Our designs are hand made and imperfect and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our line of jewellery is thoughtfully designed and made by hand by Designer and Maker, Rebekah Chugg in her studio in Collingwood, Australia.
The Materials
We use solid and recycled sterling silver & gold and make a selection of gold filled and plated pieces. We are passionate about well-made and well-priced pieces. Our collections are designed to be worn and loved, to be passed on eventually, or recycled into something new, ready to be loved again. These pieces are made to last and age gracefully. Our pieces are created from quality materials and considered in their design so that you can wear them every day.
The Process
Each one of our pieces is designed and considered for timeless wear. We utilise the ancient lost-wax casting process or hand fabrication to design each piece on a made to order model. Adopting this production method helps us eliminate waste and means we only make what is necessary and with purpose. We recycle our materials and implement circularity of our pieces by using quality, lasting metals while embodying a design ethos which encourages repairing, replating or reusing pieces. We consider the environment, and those who live within it, at every step of our process.
